Industrial Revolution Today
Introduction
The Industrial Revolution was a change from the domestic system to a system in which things were mass produced and the industry boomed. This
period lasted from around 1750-1850 AD. It was first seen clearly in the country of Britain but then spread rapidly, industrializing many other countries. The Industrial Revolution was preceded by the Agricultural Revolution, which brought about changes that allowed it to begin.
The Industrial Revolution seemed slow to bring improvements to society at first, but by its end it was quite obvious that it had made important improvements on life and society. At first, conditions were very hard for especially the poor workers who lived in tenements. By the end, however, solutions had been made to help society out. The government helped out and got involved with the problems, setting regulations for labor conditions and making housing and sanitation better
Although we may not realize it, we only have many of the machines that help us because of the Industrial Revolution. Things like trains, telephones, and radios are all products of the Industrial Revolution. We now depend on these things as almost necessities, and God used the Industrial Revolution to bring them about.
